Testimonials

About Stephen Coleclough

Fitness has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I love nothing more than sharing that passion with other people, so it seemed only fitting that I become a personal trainer.

My approach to fitness is very much back to basics. The industry is awash with shiny gimmicks, shortcuts and hacks, and while these may be appealing, I’ve got some news for you: THEY DON’T WORK. My aim is to cut through the bulls**t and keep everything simple: what are your goals and what is the most efficient way to reach them? And if you’re prepared to work hard, be consistent and listen, then I promise you results that will stun and amaze you.

But don’t just take my word for it – my client testimonials speak for themselves!

A little bit more about me…

I was born in Lewisham in 1985 and have lived and worked in London all of my life. I played football at school and was selected for a trial at Crystal Palace. However my football career came to a sudden end at 18 when I sustained a major hamstring injury. As part of the rehabilitation process I was introduced to weightlifting and I fell in love with it. I have been shifting metal in various capacities ever since, with a particular emphasis on barbell and strength training. I studied nutrition at university and have a bachelor’s degree in Food Science from the University Of Liverpool (the best years of my life and a truly amazing city). By combining my love for weightlifting and fitness with an academic grounding in nutritional science, I decided to become a personal trainer upon leaving university and soon gained my Level 3 certificate. I have worked with clients ever since in a range of excellent gyms across London and recently set up my own gym where I run private classes.

If you would like to learn more about my services – or if you just want to ask me a health and fitness related question – feel free to send me a message via my website’s contact form. I respond to every message but please don’t be disconcerted if I din’t reply straightaway, as I have a very busy schedule and lots of clients to look after!
